Taleris, a newly-formed venture by Accenture and GE Aviation, has placed its global headquarters in Irving and plans to open its corporate office on Monday. The aviation company plans to hire 100 employees in its initial year, including engineers, sales professionals and corporate staff. The company said it will provide airlines and cargo carriers with information and data to help improve efficiency. Each year, operational disruptions and flight delays cost airlines more than $10 billion worldwide, according to the company. Taleris says it hopes to help airlines mitigate those costs. Since the launch of the business, Taleris has served more than 20 customers throughout the globe.
