“Celebrating Irving – The City And The Man”  preliminary rounds of the 6thannual Irving Trivia competition will be held in the Central Library auditorium at 801 West Irving Blvd. on Saturday, April 13pm, beginning at 10am.

Questions for the trivia contest will be based on the life and works of author Washington Irving, plus the history as well as current facts about the City of Irving.  Applications for registering a team may be obtained by calling 972-252-3838.  The deadline for a team’s registration is March 26.

Shouldn’t you be in this picture?  Last year’s finalists were from the teams of Entertainment Series of Irving, Henry Holmes Breakfast Forum-Jim’s Team, La Cima Heritage Committee, and Greater Irving – Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce.  The Henry Holmes Breakfast Forum – Jim Bullock’s team won the final competition.
