Irving could be the next North Texas city to see a major corporate relocation. Why? The city has a large number of contiguous real estate over 100,000 square feet that could house a corporate office, said Steve Triolet, research manager at Jones Lang LaSalle. In fact, there are 18 of those sites in the Irving-Las Colinas submarket, he said. “This is one of the most improved submarkets,” Triolet said. “That’s where we will see a lot of demand.” The city has snagged deals like Nationstar’s large expansion off Horizon Way and the expansion and consolidation of Irving-based Lehigh Hanson Inc. Last week, Lehigh Hanson — one of the largest construction materials companies in the U.S. — announced it signed a lease totaling 211,121 square feet at The Point at Las Colinas at 300 E. John Carpentar Frwy. in Irving.
