Chamber President/CEO Chris Wallace testified in front of the State’s Sub-Committee on Economic Development to make recommendations to improve the state’s economic development policies and incentives.  While citing several Irving-related examples, Wallace stressed the importance of retaining companies in Texas, the need for a faster response time from the State regarding incentive offers as well as pointing out the challenges with 4A/4B sales tax dollars being used for ‘in-state’ relocations.  Frisco Mayor Maher Maso chairs the committee which consists of State Representative Angie Chen Button and Houston businessman Stacey Gillman.
