Greyhound Lines Inc.
is teaming with cross-town partner Ace Cash Express
to distribute bus tickets. Dallas-based Greyhound said customers now will be able to book tickets online, and then pay cash for them at locations of Ace Cash Express, which is headquartered in Irving. “This service provides cash-paying customers with cash access to discounts usually reserved for web-only reservations, as well as the convenience of thousands of retail locations across the United States to complete their transaction,” the bus company said in a news release. Greyhound started the program last fall with Dallas-based 7-Eleven. It’s been a success, Greyhound said, prompting it to seek additional retail partners.
