The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2nd Annual Contact Center of Excellence Forum on Thursday, September 20th. This event featured keynote speakers Mary Murcott, CEO, Novo 1, and Sandip Sen, Global President of Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM), Aegis Communication, who spoke about the Repatriotization of US Contact Center Jobs.

The attendees participated in one of two breakout sessions, the first of which was a panel discussion regarding Attrition, Retention and Recruiting Issues Affecting the Industry.  This panel was made of Eric Dunlap who currently leads the Shared Services team for the Citi Professional Recruitment organization, Brad Guy who is the Head of Talent Acquisition for HMS, and Mike McCain who is the Director of Human Resources for Novo 1. The second breakout session was designed for C-level executives to discuss a new networking forum in order for the Contact Center Community to share resources, post jobs and gain insight on changing trends specific to their business.

There are over 200 contact centers in North Texas, and over 80 in the Irving area, so the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce was proud to be able to offer this opportunity for businesses within North Texas to come together to enhance their resources through this networking forum.
