The Cardinal Newman Society announced the winners of the 2012-2013 Catholic High School Honor Roll competition. This year’s top 50 schools are located in 21 states Pennsylvania, Texas, and Michigan have the most. The local Irving Catholic Schools, Faustina Academy and The Highlands School, earned the honor of being 2 of only 6 named in Texas.

The Honor Roll recognizes excellence in Catholic identity, academics and civic education at Catholic high schools across the United States.  Created by The Acton Institute in 2004. The Honor Roll is now one more way that The Cardinal Newman Society helps Catholic families and promotes faithful Catholic education. Catholic education at every level is getting stronger, and we hope to forge lasting bonds between faithful Catholic high schools and the colleges in our Newman Guide.
