Women’s Alliance luncheon featured Army Blackhawk helicopter pilot and entrepreneur Elizabeth McCormick and also a silent auction benefiting the Women’s Alliance scholarship fund. Through the generosity of attendees, $300 was raised to help provide scholarships to deserving high school girls who will be going on to college next fall.  Apart from networking and the silent auction, guest speaker Elizabeth McCormick took attendees through a high-flying adventure on how to increase influence and improve leadership. McCormick shared five lessons learned from being an Army Blackhawk helicopter pilot, which encourage professional and personal growth.

McCormick is a certified coach, trainer and speaker; Internet radio show host; and co-author of two books: Women Entrepreneur Extraordinaire and Succeeding in Spite of Everything. McCormick has also filmed her story on an upcoming ABC News “20/20” segment. The next Women’s Alliance Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, October 17.
