In Schools Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR) which was founded in 1985 to address the
growing number of high school dropouts in Dallas and the surrounding areas. As
experts in collaboration and in providing comprehensive case-managed services,
CISDR’s professional staff brings community resources into schools to work in
the interest of at-risk children in a coordinated, caring and cost-effective
way. There are 88 professional staff members and 25 AmeriCorps members on
62 school sites in 13 school districts: Carrollton-Farmers Branch, Commerce,
Dallas, Irving, Lancaster, McKinney, Mesquite, Midlothian, Plano, Richardson,
Rockwall and two charter schools.

parents, friends or are self-referred. CISDR case managers work with each child
to develop a holistic plan to prepare students for successful lives. CISDR not only works with students to address academic concerns, but also
with parents, teachers and administrators who are involved with these students
each day. By using a holistic wrap-around approach, distractions and
disruptions in the student’s life outside of the school environment are
addressed, allowing the student to focus on his/her schoolwork.

tournament is offered in an effort to provide additional opportunities for
Communities in Schools Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR) supporters to make a difference in the lives of deserving young students.  The tournament will help fund their programs, it also serves as an
opportunity to network or thank your most important clients.

tournament will take place on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Hackberry Creek Country
Club. The course, designed by legendary golfer, Byron Nelson, is a Par 72 and
is 7,013 yards long. Registration and warm-up on the driving range begins at
11:00 a.m. Box lunches will be served at noon and the shotgun start will be at
1:00 p.m. There will be great prizes for tournament and contest winners in
addition to all the great items in the raffle and auctions. Awards and an
exceptional catered dinner will round out the day’s events.
