Chamber member, the Citizens Development Center, is looking for repetitive-type work for its 160 disabled employees to perform at
their center. The Center provides employment for disabled citizens
from across the region, including several Irving citizens. Their focus is
on repetitive-type functions that businesses need accomplished at a reasonable
cost. Jobs performed by this special workforce include sorting nuts and bolts
for manufacturers, assembling shipping boxes for products,  replacing
labels or adding additional instructions on packaging, and even shredding of
documents.

To determine how the Citizens Development Center may be able
to help you meet your business needs and lower your costs, contact Virginia
Lockwood, Director of Development at 214-637-2911 Ext. 180. The CDC also
seeks Corporate sponsorships to help provide this needed opportunity for its
special ability employees.
