Irving-based Boy Scouts of America (BSA) reached within its hierarchy to select the next Chief Scout Executive (CSE). Wayne Brock, who has been deputy CSE and chief operating officer since 2009, will succeed Bob Mazzuca on Sept. 1. Mazzuca served five years as chief scout executive, the organization’s top professional, and will retire on Aug. 31, having reached the mandatory retirement age of 65.
