The University of Dallas, based in Irving-Texas, has received a total of $7 million in financial commitments for the remodeling of a plaza walk-through and upgrades. $5.5 million in financing came from corporate sponsors and organizations, including $1 million from the Constantin Foundation, a Dallas-based nonprofit, and $2
million from an anonymous donor.
The plaza walk-through off of Highway 114 will allow passers-by to take notice of the university. J.M. Haggar University Center will also receive an energy-efficient upgrade to its cafeteria, which dates to 1975. No student tuition or operating funds are being used for campus renovations.
