The City of Irving has earned the 2012 Gold Leadership Circle Award from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts in recognition of its outstanding financial transparency. This is the third consecutive year the city has received the award, which recognizes local governments that are striving to meet a high level of online financial transparency by providing residents with a clear picture of spending in a userfriendly format.

“The city of Irving has been among the early leaders in local government financial transparency in Texas,” said Comptroller Susan Combs. “Irving was one of the first cities to receive our Gold Leadership Circle Award, and has now done so for three years in a row. I appreciate the work the city has done to shine a light on spending and ensure greater accountability to the city’s taxpayers.”
