The ALS Association has restructured its operations in Texas, merging the North Texas, Greater Houston, and South Texas chapters into a statewide ALS Association Texas Chapter headquartered in Irving. The organization has also named David Chayer, of Dallas, to lead the group’s effort across the state. The former ALS association
chapters, which were headquartered in Dallas, San Antonio and Houston, have consolidated to operate more efficiently and better serve people battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease throughout the state.
