Finnish technology company Nokia Corp., which maintains its U.S. headquarters in Irving, is close to naming a new chairman, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Sources have told the newspaper that the new chairman likely will be Risto Siilasmaa, founder of one of Finland’s most successful technology companies. According to the Journal, Siilasmaa is a three-year member of the Nokia board and he would succeed departing chairman Jorma Ollila.
