The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber is partnering with E-waste Collections, Talon Shred and Cousins Properties to provide responsible recycling of certain electronic equipment and document shredding as part of our Earth Day recognition on Friday April 22, 2011. This service will be open to all companies and tenants of Williams Square for no charge, with the exception of some equipment that cannot be refurbished for continued use and/or contains hazardous materials.
These items require special processing so a charge is associated with recycling them.
Please note that these items are clearly marked on the attached informative flyer of what can be recycled. All equipment with a hard drive will go through a basic data wipe or will be physically destroyed during the metal recycling process. E-waste Collections also offers a DOD Triple Overwrite with a Certificate for Destruction for $10.00 per hard drive charge upon request.
If you plan on participating in E-Recycling, please fill out the attached form with what items you plan on having recycled. E-waste will also schedule pick ups from your office if they receive your information and/or pick up request prior to April 20, 2011. Please fax or email the attached form to E-Waste with an approximate list of items you plan to bring or have picked up. This information will be helpful in making traffic and staffing accommodations.
Electronic recycling will occur at the Chamber Tower Drive (Las Colinas Boulevard) from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Shredding will take place in the Dock Area on a timed schedule: EAST TOWER DOCK; 8:00-9:30am CENTRAL TOWER DOCK; 10:30-11:30am WEST TOWER DOCK 1:00-2:30 pm CHAMBER TOWER DOCK 3:00-4:00 pm Please reference the attached map for all information and directions.
