The Four Seasons Resort and Club  in Las Colinas reports that one of its members, Richard Lewis, has broken a Guinness World Record for the most rounds of golf played in a single year (587). Incredibly, he has walked and carried his bag for every single round, all of which have been played at either TPC or Cottonwood Valley. Richard has passed the record and is still going – having played his 600th round of golf Sunday, December 26 on TPC. Several supporters paid more than $5000 to play with him in this record round and have donated money in Lewis’ honor to support The First Tee of Dallas, a national non-profit that teaches youth the importance of personal character and social responsibility through the game of golf.  Lewis plans to continue until he plays his final round, likely his 611th, of the year on Friday, December 31.

CNN has been covering the story with coverage here and here. ESPN has a story as well and the PGA Tour folks are impressed as well.  Way to go Richard!
