With North Texas’ Super Bowl XLV approaching, DFW International Airport is gearing up for increased corporate travel with the opening a new Corporate Aviation facility. At their grand opening celebration held December 10. D/FW Airport Vice President F. Paul Martinez (photographed in second photo below), spoke of the estimated 250-300 corporate jet flights that will deliver as many as 4,000 passengers to the new facility in the days leading up to Super Bowl Sunday, February 6, 2011. The facility is a former American Eagle terminal on the northeast side of DFW which has been empty since the regional carrier moved its operations to Terminal B five years ago. The facility has 8,500 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting, work and lounge space.
